In the Beshenkovichi district, a monitoring was carried out at the State Educational Institution "Ostrovenskaya Secondary School of the Beshenkovichi District named after K.A. Abazovsky"
The Supervision and Prevention Sector of the Beshenkovichi District Department for Emergency Situations conducted a monitoring of the educational institution "Ostrovenskaya Secondary School of the Beshenkovichi District named after K.A. Abazovsky" (Beshenkovichi District, ag. Ostrovno, ul. Nadozernaya, 17) to ensure fire safety.
Based on the results of the monitoring, it was established that:
- officials and employees comply with their duties in the field of fire safety;
- fire safety instructions have been developed in accordance with established requirements;
- general fire safety requirements are observed at the facilities;
- requirements for the maintenance of buildings, structures and premises, for the organization of the technological process, requirements for ensuring safe evacuation in case of fire, as well as for the maintenance and determination of the quantity of primary fire extinguishing means and fire water supply systems are observed;
- requirements for the procedure for conducting fire safety training and checking employees' knowledge of fire safety are observed;
- specific fire safety requirements for facilities specifically designed for children, as well as facilities with simultaneous presence of over 300 people, social and healthcare facilities with round-the-clock stay of people are observed.
The school building is equipped with an automatic fire alarm system, a fire alarm notification system, and the "Molniya" fire alarm system. The aforementioned systems are serviced by the specialized organization OOO "Stroyelektrosfera" in accordance with technical maintenance agreement No. 2-TO-23 dated 07.02.2023.
Representatives of the servicing organization have conducted a check of the operability and proper functioning of these systems. The systems are in operable and proper working condition. Programs for verifying compliance with technical regulatory legal acts during the maintenance and repair of fire alarm and fire detection systems, as well as the quality of work performed, have been developed.
During the monitoring, fire safety training was provided to the institution's employees (3 people were instructed).
The Beshenkovichi District Department for Emergency Situations reminds that in accordance with Article 20 of the Law of the Republic of Belarus "On Fire Safety," heads of organizations are responsible for ensuring fire safety and fire prevention regulations within their respective organizations.
