A monitoring of the museum was carried out in the Beshenkovichi district

The Inspection and Prevention Department of the Beshenkovichi District Department for Emergency Situations conducted a monitoring of the State Institution "Beshenkovichi District Historical and Local Lore Museum" to ensure fire safety.
During the work carried out, it was established that violations of fire safety legislation were identified at the facilities, namely the "General Fire Safety Requirements for the Maintenance and Operation of Capital Structures (Buildings, Structures), Isolated Premises and Other Facilities Owned by Business Entities" approved by Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus No. 6 of November 23, 2017 "On the Development of Entrepreneurship".
The main measures proposed for implementation were:
the facility-wide fire safety instruction has not been revised in accordance with the requirements of the Resolution of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus dated April 28, 2018 No. 28 "On Establishing Requirements for the Content of Facility-Wide Fire Safety Instructions" (Clause 7 of the General Fire Safety Requirements);
the employee responsible for ensuring fire safety of the business entity has not undergone mandatory training in fire technical minimum (hereinafter referred to as FTM) (Clauses 58, 59 of the General Fire Safety Requirements, Clauses 15, 16 of the "Instruction on the Procedure for Training Employees on Fire Safety Issues and Verification of Their Knowledge in this Area", approved by the Resolution of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus dated May 22, 2018 No. 36);
inspections of the condition of the internal fire water supply have not been carried out (acts of readiness for the use of the internal fire water supply have not been provided) (Clause 57 of the General Fire Safety Requirements, Clauses 2, 4 of the "Instruction on the Procedure for Inspecting the Condition of External and Internal Fire Water Supply, approved by the Resolution of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus dated May 15, 2018 No. 34");
the evacuation plan for people in case of fire has not been executed in accordance with the form determined by the Resolution of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus dated April 20, 2018 No. 21 "On Establishing the Form of the Fire Evacuation Plan" (Clause 45 of the General Fire Safety Requirements);
locks on doors located on evacuation routesations (external evacuation door (main building entrance) does not allow for free opening from the inside without a key (Clause 48 of the Fire Safety Regulations).
The museum building is not equipped with a stand providing fire safety information (Clause 3.2 of the Fire Safety Regulations);
Combustible materials are allowed to be stored in the premises located under the evacuation staircase (Clause 50 of the Fire Safety Regulations);
Fire safety briefings are not conducted with museum employees (according to the attendance log, the last initial briefing with museum employees was held on 27.08.201with relevant marks about the work performed. At the time of the monitoring, the fire alarm system was in working order.
In the presence of the Director of the State Institution "Beshankovichsky District Historical and Local Lore Museum", a program for checking compliance with the requirements of technical normative legal acts for the maintenance and repair of fire alarm and fire detection systems, and the quality of work performed was drawn up.
The Beshankovichsky District Department for Emergency Situations reminds that in accordance with Article 17 of the Law of the Republic of Belarus "On Fire Safety", heads of organizations must ensure fire safety and fire safety regulations in their respective organizations.
