In the Beshenkovichi district, a monitoring of the dormitory of the UP "Beshenkovichi Communal Services" was carried out.

     The Inspection of Supervision and Prevention of the Beshenkovichi District Department for Emergency Situations, with the aim of ensuring fire safety, conducted a monitoring of the dormitory of UP "Beshenkovichi Communalnik" located at: p.g.t. Beshenkovichi, Chernyakhovsky St., 30.

         During the work carried out, it was established that violations of fire safety legislation were identified at the facilities, namely the "General Fire Safety Requirements for the Maintenance and Operation of Capital Structures (Buildings, Structures), Isolated Premises and Other Objects Belonging to Business Entities" approved by Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus No. 6 of November 23, 2017 "On the Development of Entrepreneurship". The following measures are proposed for implementation:

- develop evacuation plans for people in case of fire from the dormitory building (p.g.t. Beshenkovichi, Chernyakhovsky St., 30) in accordance with the form established by the Resolution of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of April 20, 2018 No. 21 "On establishing the form of a fire evacuation plan for people", clause 45 of the General Requirements;

- equip the dormitory rooms (p.g.t. Beshenkovichi, Chernyakhovsky St., 30) with schematic plans for individual evacuation of people from the respective floor, memorandums with fire safety rules for residents and actions in case of fire, clause 46 of the General Requirements;

- prohibit smoking outside specially designated areas (in corridors and stairwells) of the dormitory (p.g.t. Beshenkovichi, Chernyakhovsky St., 30), clause 11 of the General Requirements;

- provide the 3rd-floor corridor of the dormitory (p.g.t. Beshenkovichi, Chernyakhovsky St., 30) with the necessary quantity of primary fire extinguishing means, clause 53 of the General Requirements;

- ensure that the smoke-tight doors of the dormitory stairwells (p.g.t. Beshenkovichi, Chernyakhovsky St., 30) comply with the requirements for them (equip with seals).

     Monitoring has shown that the head needs to take the requirements of technical regulatory legal acts of the fire safety regulation and standardization system more seriously.

     The head has been presented with recommendations for eliminating the violations identified during the monitoring.

   The Beshenkovichi District Department for Emergency Situations reminds that in accordance with Art. 17 of the Law of the Republic of Belarus "On Fire Safety", heads of organizations must ensure fire safety and fire prevention regulations in their respective organizations.
