In the Beshenkovichi district, a monitoring of the restaurant of the Beshenkovichi branch of the Vitebsk regional consumer society was carried out

The Sector of Supervision and Prevention of the Beshenkovichi District Department for Emergency Situations conducted a monitoring of the restaurant of the Beshenkovichi Branch of the Vitebsk Regional Consumer Society (address: pos. Beshenkovichi, Kommunisticheskaya St., 2) with the aim of ensuring fire safety.
Based on the results of the monitoring, violations of fire safety requirements were identified that do not pose a threat to national security, harm to the life and health of the population, or the environment, namely:
locks on doors located on the evacuation routes of the restaurant (doors separating the corridor from the emergency staircase; entrance door of the large banquet hall; entrance doors of the small banquet hall) do not ensure the possibility of their free opening from the inside without a key (clause 48 of general requirements);
in the kitchen corridor of the restaurant, the constant readiness of the fire hydrant for use is not ensured (not connected to the water pipeline) (clauses 3.1 of general requirements).
The premises of the restaurant of the Beshenkovichi Branch of the Vitebsk Regional Consumer Society are equipped with an automatic fire alarm system, a fire notification system, and the SPI "Molniya". The above system is serviced by the specialized organization ODO "Tekhnologii Bezopasnosti" in
in accordance with the maintenance agreement No. 89/TO dated 01.04.2020.
Representatives of the maintenance organization have carried out a check of the operability and serviceability of these systems; the systems are in operable and serviceable condition. Programs for checking compliance with the requirements of technical normative legal acts during maintenance and repair of fire alarm and smoke detection systems, and the quality of work performed, have been compiled.
The reasons and conditions contributing to the commission of the specified violations were the insufficient knowledge of the enterprise head regarding the requirements of regulatory legal acts in the field of fire safety and a formal attitude towards the performance of his direct official duties.
The head was handed recommendations for the elimination of violations identified during the monitoring.
The Beshenkovichi District Department for Emergency Situations reminds that in accordance with Article 20 of the Law of the Republic of Belarus "On Fire Safety", the heads of organizations must ensure fire safety and the fire safety regime in their respective organizations.
