Monitoring of SKhUP "Vyaderevo" was carried out in the Beshenkovichi district

A monitoring was conducted by the Supervision and Prevention Sector of the Beshenkovichi District Department for Emergency Situations to ensure fire safety at the agricultural production cooperative "Vyaderovo" located at the address: Beshenkovichi district, ag. Ostrovno.

During the work performed, the following issues were studied:

compliance by managers, other officials, and employees with fire safety obligations;

availability of fire safety instructions, compliance with established requirements for their development and content;

compliance with general fire safety requirements at the facility;

compliance with requirements for the maintenance of buildings, structures, and premises;

compliance with requirements for the organization of the technological process;

compliance with requirements for ensuring safe evacuation in case of fire;

compliance with requirements for the maintenance and determination of the quantity of primary fire extinguishing means and fire water supply systems;

compliance with requirements for the procedure of fire safety training and verification of employees' knowledge of fire safety;

compliance with specific requirements for ensuring fire safety of explosive and fire-hazardous...

of hazardous production facilities.

Based on the monitoring results, violations of fire safety requirements were identified that do not pose a threat to national security, harm to the life and health of the population, or the environment, namely:

the farms "Vyaderevo" and "Chanovichi" are not equipped with the required number of primary fire extinguishing means (the available fire extinguishers are insufficient) (Clause 53 of the General Requirements, Annexes No. 1, 2 to the Resolution of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus of May 18, 2018 No. 35);

the operability and serviceability of the fire extinguisher on tractor registration number 6270 VV-2 are not ensured (a hose with a nozzle is missing) (Clause 3.1 of the General Requirements);

on the territory of the repair workshop in the village of Vyaderevo, electrical equipment is operated not in accordance with the operating documentation for it (an extension cord not of factory origin, lacking a plug, is used to connect the welding machine) (Clause 9 of the General Requirements).

The causes and conditions contributing to the commission of the specified violations were the insufficient knowledge of the enterprise head regarding the requirements of regulatory legal acts in the field of fire safety, and a formal attitude towards the performance of their direct official duties.

The head was presented with recommendations for eliminating the violations identified during the monitoring.

The Beshenkovichi District Department for Emergency Situations reminds that in accordance with Article 20 of the Law of the Republic of Belarus "On Fire Safety", heads of organizations must ensure fire safety and the fire safety regime in their respective organizations.
