A ten-day safety campaign is underway in the Beshenkovichi district

According to statistics, the majority of fire incidents occur in private residences, where the highest number of citizens are injured and killed. With the aim of preventing fires in private residences and conducting educational outreach among the population, employees of the Beshenkovichi District Department for Emergency Situations, in conjunction with employees of the Internal Affairs Department and healthcare representatives, are holding a decade of safety.
The focus is on citizens who have previously come to the attention of preventive services, as well as individuals prone to alcohol abuse. Reminding them once again of the most basic rules and monitoring the elimination of previously identified violations were among the tasks of the raid groups.
During the raid, which took place last weekend, over twenty addresses were visited, and approximately fifteen citizens were instructed. As explained by Vitaly Ryabenko, Deputy Head of the Beshenkovichi District Department for Emergency Situations, the fire in the village of Lobachevo, which claimed the life of a man, clearly demonstrates that the work of educating citizens must be carried out continuously.
