The session was attended by Dmitry Demidov, Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Council of Deputies, Galina Unukovich, Chairperson of the District Executive Committee, and the district's active members.

The candidacy of Alexander Erashov, Deputy Chairperson of the District Executive Committee, Deputy Chairperson of the District Council of Deputies, and Deputy for the Shkolny Electoral District No. 6, was proposed for the position of Chairman of the District Council.

District Council deputies Elena Karbovskaya and Igor Slivets spoke in support of Alexander Erashov, noting the candidate's professionalism, his firmness and well-reasoned decision-making, principledness, ability to work with people, honesty, and fairness.

In accordance with the law, the election of the Chairman of the District Council took place by secret ballot. The deputies present at the session unanimously voted for the nominated candidate for the position in the representative body of district power.

Congratulating the new head of the district's deputy corps, Dmitry Demidov noted that the position of Chairman of the District Council of Deputies is a great responsibility to every resident of the region. Alexander Ivanovich possesses all the necessary qualities, knowledge, and experience to cope with this responsibility.

Addressing the people's representatives, Dmitry Demidov emphasized that the most important aspect of parliamentary activity is to listen to people, support them, and help them solve problems.
The best qualities of Alexander Erashov were also noted by the head of the district, Galina Unukovich. Among them are responsibility, determination, and a caring attitude towards what is happening in his native land.

"A new stage in life is beginning for Alexander Ivanovich, during which, I am sure, he will bring even more benefit to people," emphasized Galina Unukovich.

Alexander Erashov expressed his sincere gratitude for the support and trust shown and assured everyone present that the people's elected representatives will continue their systematic and significant work to improve the well-being and life activities of the residents of the district, region, and the republic as a whole.

The position of Deputy Chairman of the District Council of Deputies was elected by Tatiana Boboed, Head of the Banking Services Center No. 206 in the town of Beshenkovichi of the Vitebsk Regional Directorate of OJSC "Belagroprombank", and deputy for the Sovetsky Electoral District No. 3.
