By decision of the district executive committee, official places for mass recreation with swimming facilities have been designated, and a plan of measures aimed at protecting people's lives and health has been approved.

There are still two official swimming locations in the district. These are tested water bodies where the bottom has been inspected by divers and lifeguards are on duty on the shore. The designated places for mass recreation by the water are the city beach, located on the shore of the "Chistye Prudy" reservoir near Vitebskoye Shosse Street, at the exit of the urban settlement of Beshenkovichi, and the beach located on the shore of Lake Beloye, within the land plot of the agro-tourism facility "Pushkarevskaya" (in the village of Pushkari, Ostrovenskoye rural council). Swimming is strictly prohibited in all other locations, including riverbanks, quarries, and technical reservoirs.

As Suleiman Sadykov, chairman of the district organization of the public association "Belarusian Republican Society for Rescue on Waters," informed the editorial office, important work has already been carried out at "Chistye Prudy" in Beshenkovichi by the land reclamation systems enterprise. Specialists have cleaned and expanded the water area of the first reservoir intended for swimming by children and their accompanying persons. The entrance to the second reservoir, designated for adult swimming, has also been cleaned and expanded. The excavated soil will be removed shortly, after which the shoreline will be landscaped. Fresh sand has already begun to be delivered to the beach.

"There is an agreement with the forestry enterprise to install another gazebo near the second reservoir," says Suleiman Sadykov. "Beshenkovichi Communal Services" will install higher sun loungers and a changing room here. To ensure the safety of beach equipment, information stands, and safety signs, modern protection measures are being implemented – surveillance cameras will appear at "Chistyye Prudy" this season. The assistance of the Deputy Chairman of the District Executive Committee, Viktor Edmundovich Grishan, in resolving problematic issues greatly helps to complete all planned tasks on time, for which he is immensely grateful."

The technical passport is currently being updated for each official beach. This document confirms that the water area has been inspected by divers, the bottom has been cleared of dangerous objects, and the infrastructure meets all standards. Moreover, people will be on duty at the beaches who will not just "monitor" order, but also be able to teach swimming, and in case of trouble – provide qualified first aid to a drowning person.
Special attention is paid to the safety of children. Before the start of mass recreation, responsible persons will organize mandatory patrols of the coastline to eliminate any risks in the designated areas. Law enforcement officers will also strengthen their work: the Beshenkovichi District Department of Internal Affairs, within its competence, will ensure public order at the beaches and organize safe traffic on the approaches to them. Members of voluntary people's patrols will also be involved in patrolling the recreation areas.

Safety corners are already being updated in the district schools, where up-to-date information on water safety rules and recreational culture for children and their parents is posted.
Overall safety begins with personal discipline. Rest only in officially designated areas, take care of beach infrastructure, and always remember that water does not forgive mistakes.
