By decision of the District Executive Committee, the regulations and the composition of the competition commission, chaired by the Deputy Chairman of the District Executive Committee, Viktor Grishan, have been approved. The commission will determine the winners.

The main objective set by the organizers is to encourage residents to actively participate in maintaining order in their stairwells, carrying out improvement and aesthetic decoration works, ensuring the preservation of housing stock and common property of multi-story residential buildings, as well as creating more comfortable living conditions in the urban settlement and the district as a whole.

Residents of apartment buildings who have carried out improvement and tidying works in their stairwells are invited to participate in the competition.

Applications for participation should be submitted in written and electronic form to the Department of Architecture and Construction, Housing and Communal Services of the District Executive Committee at the following address: 13 Chklyaya St., Beshankovichy, 211361, arhn@beshenkovichi.gov.by. The deadline for submission is 5:00 PM on August 22, 2025.

The application for participation in the competition must include the following information:

1) Full name of the applicant-citizen, postal (electronic) address, contact phone number;

2) residential address;

3) list of works performed by the applicant (applicants) on the improvement of the building entrance;

4) photo or video materials demonstrating the condition of the building entrance.

The evaluation criteria are as follows (maximum score – 100):

— sanitary condition of the entrance, common areas – 20,

— arrangement of the entrance, presence of comfort elements – 20,

— active participation of residents in maintaining order and sanitary condition, and arrangement of the entrance – 10,

— maintenance of the basement (if any) in proper fire safety condition, cleanliness and order – 10,

— serviceability of window frames, door units in the entrance, preservation of stair railings, mailboxes, presence of number plates on apartment doors and signs on the entrance indicating the entrance and apartment numbers – 10,

— presence of announcement boards, absence of unauthorized posting of information on entrance doors – 10,

— presence of an equipped flower bed or flower garden, benches near the entrance – 20.

The winners of the review competition will be the participants who score the highest number of points.

The competition results will be announced by the competition commission from September 1 to 5, 2025, after inspecting the entrances of residential apartment buildings participating in the competition. The results will be formalized by a protocol, determining the winner (first place) and prize-winners (second and third places). Information about them will be posted on the district executive committee's website, as well as in the media and on information boards in settlements.

The winners and prize-winners of the review competition in the nominations are awarded:

1st place – 1st degree diploma, a cash prize or a valuable gift in the amount of 3 basic units;

2nd place – 2nd degree diploma, a cash prize or a valuable gift in the amount of 2 basic units;

3rd place – 3rd degree diploma, a cash prize or a valuable gift in the amount of 1 basic unit.

The competition winner (who took 1st place) will be presented with a plaque with the corresponding text. The corresponding titles will be awarded for a period of one year. Participants who do not take prize-winning places will be awarded with letters of appreciation.
