A special preventive event "House Without Fire" was held in the Beshenkovichi district, organized by rescuers from the ROChS and the regional department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
Its goal was to raise the level of safety among the population, especially among categories of citizens most exposed to fire-related risks.
Rescuers visited the homes of the elderly, disabled people, and families with children. They held individual conversations, reminded them of the rules of safe behavior at home, how to properly handle electrical appliances, what to do in case of a fire, and what precautions should be taken to prevent fires.
Training sessions were also organized in the schools of the district center. During interactive classes, through quizzes, role-playing games, and demonstrations of actions in emergency situations, children learned safety rules in a playful manner, participated in discussions, and asked questions.
"Such events," say specialists from the Ministry of Emergency Situations, "help to form the correct attitude towards fire safety issues among young people and teach them to act competently in emergency situations."
