The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Belarus
has clarified amendments to the legislation concerning SMS notifications for citizens to appear at the military commissariat.
Citizens can now receive notifications requiring them to appear at the military commissariat via the short message service.
SMS messages will serve as an additional notification channel. The summons will remain the primary method.
Currently, each military commissariat has been assigned a so-called alpha-name by the telecommunications operator.
This name will appear in the sender field. A list of alpha-names assigned to military commissariats can be found on the official website of the Ministry of Defense.
The message
from the military commissariat will contain the following information: the time and date of appearance, its purpose, the address where the citizen should appear, as well as a contact phone number for inquiries.
Please note
that
Please note that this message does not contain any links and does not require a response. The military enlistment office never requests personal or passport data over the phone.
