According to information from the Internet, on May 6, 2023,
an accident involving a "chain carousel" type amusement ride (hereinafter referred to as the Amusement Ride) occurred in Orenburg in the "50 Years of the USSR" Park ("Orenpark") (Russian Federation).

From video footage posted on the Internet, it is evident that before the crash, the Amusement Ride had managed to reach a significant speed, after which the vertical telescopic column abruptly lowered, causing the chain-suspended seats (passenger modules) with their occupants to fall to the ground. Approximately 19 people were injured, 11 of whom were hospitalized, including minors.
