В Островно прошел Троицкий фестиваль

On the Day of the Holy Trinity, the VIII district festival of spiritual culture and folk art "Trinity Festival" was held in the agro-town of Ostrovno.

It began with the Divine Liturgy in the Church of the Holy Trinity, led by the vicar of the Vitebsk diocese, Bishop Evsevy of Drutsk. At noon, trade rows and various craft fairs opened on the site near the Ostrovno Rural House of Culture. The festival program also included master classes, an interregional inclusive art picnic for people with disabilities and elderly citizens "Semukha. Trinity Fun", contests, souvenirs, and a real jousting tournament...

The participants of the festival at the opening of the spiritual music concert in the rural House of Culture were addressed with a welcoming speech by the Deputy Chairman of the District Executive Committee Alexander Erashov and the Vicar of the Vitebsk Diocese, Bishop Drutsky Evsevy.

Congratulating everyone on the bright holiday, Alexander Erashov addressed special words of gratitude to the clergy for their wise guidance and faithful service to God and people: "On this blessed day, when God's grace descends into our souls, we feel the unity in faith, love, and hope particularly acutely. Trinity reminds us of the great power of mutual understanding, mercy, and care for our neighbors, calls us to keep peace in our hearts and to do good. Your dedication to your cause and faith help preserve the spiritual traditions and moral foundations on which our society rests. I wish each of you strength of spirit, inexhaustible joy, and family well-being. May the prayers heard in churches strengthen our faith, and may good deeds become the foundation of love and harmony in society."

In turn, thanking for the attention, the vicar of the Vitebsk diocese, Bishop Evsevy of Drutsk, gave his blessing: "May the light of God enter your lives, your homes, illuminate your hearts, and make your lives full, beautiful, and happy."
