Almost 400 Children Rest in School Camps of Beshenkovichi District
On the first day of summer holidays, six educational and health camps with day stays opened their doors in the district's schools. For older children at Secondary School No. 2 in Beshenkovichi named after M. N. Tkachenko, a labor and recreation camp has been organized. At Secondary School No. 1 of the district center, the sports and health camp "Olimpiets" of the Beshenkovichi Children and Youth Sports School is operating, attended by 60 young athletes. In total, almost 400 boys and girls are resting and improving their health in the district's school camps.
The first day of the shift passed in one breath: the children became participants in the district festival dedicated to the International Children's Day. The following days were no less interesting.
At Ostroven Secondary School named after K. A. Abazovsky, for example, as part of the "Step to Success" project, a meeting with physician's assistant A. V. Lappo and a screening of social videos "BEYOND dependence" were organized for the campers. Children from the camp at Secondary School No. 2 of the district center visited the central district library, where a program "Great Summer - Safe Summer" was prepared for them, including a review of traffic rules.
At Boceikovsky Secondary School named after M. A. Vysogorets, schoolchildren tested their knowledge in the brain-ring "State Symbols" and participated in the game program "We are Belarusians." And at Secondary School No. 1 in Beshenkovichi, the second day of the shift was declared Patriot's Day, which was held under the motto "I am a patriot of my country." Here, children participated in the military-patriotic game "Zarnichka," the quiz "Little Citizens of a Big Country," and the interactive game "Belarus is My Country."
Every day at the camps is filled with vivid impressions. The children's recreation program is as насыщенный as possible: exciting quests, sports relays, creative master classes, contests, excursions, and outdoor walks await schoolchildren.
Many more exciting discoveries lie ahead for the children, as the camp session is just gaining momentum. The operation of school-based camps in the district will continue, which means that the summer for our young fellow countrymen will definitely be safe, useful, and unforgettable.
