The district honored the memory of internationalist soldiers
Representatives of the regional organization "Belarusian Union of War Veterans of Afghanistan" visited the cemetery in the village of Lug, where the internationalist soldier Alexander Sukhval, who died in a hot spot, is buried. They laid a wreath on the grave.
A solemn rally was held in the district center at the memorial sign to fellow countrymen who performed international duty in Afghanistan.
Along with the veterans of the Afghan War, representatives of the authorities, labor collectives of institutions and enterprises of the district, public associations, schoolchildren, and youth gathered here.
79 natives and residents of our district passed through the military roads of Afghanistan, 2 of them died...
