Changes to the National Vaccination Schedule have been prepared in the Republic of Belarus

Vaccination is planned to be introduced against:
- pneumococcal infection for all children under 1 year of age (three doses at 2, 4, and 12 months). This is a global practice for managing the epidemic process of pneumococcal infection and is relevant for the Republic of Belarus;
- infection caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV infection) for girls aged 11. This is due to the need to form protection before the onset of sexual activity and is most appropriate based on the programmatic aspects of vaccination organization.
- booster vaccination against pertussis at the age of 6 years.
It is planned that the innovations will come into effect from January 2025.
