An off-site regional seminar «Belarus and Us» is being held in Vitebsk
– The Youth Parliament from the northern region is a promising personnel reserve, the country's potential. Interesting and eventful activities await you, participation in significant socio-political events, and decision-making concerning the implementation of youth policy. Be active, generate ideas, and realize yourselves, – emphasized Dmitry Demidov, Chairman of the Regional Council of Deputies.
Welcoming the seminar participants, Vyacheslav Durnov, Deputy Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee, focused on the importance of engaging young people today so that they settle in their localities and continue to work in the regions.
Members of the Youth Council (Parliament) of the Vitebsk region took part in the regular session of the Regional Council of Deputies.
The Regional Council of Working Youth visited OJSC "Vitebskie Kovry," where, after an excursion around the enterprise, the young people discussed the goals and objectives of the council.
– The seminar program is intensive and allows us to communicate with the regional leadership, ask questions of interest, and also discuss initiatives with peers from other districts of the Vitebsk region. We plan to jointly organize and conduct socially significant events for the benefit of the region and the country, – noted Vladislav Marudov, Head of the Labor Protection Department of PU "Polotskgaz" UP "Vitebskoblgaz."
Participants of the interregional seminar also laid flowers at the memorial on Sovetskaya Street in the regional center and visited the museum of Hero of the Soviet Union Minay Shmyryov.
