In the Vitebsk region, 521.4 thousand tons of grain, including rapeseed, have been threshed

Belarus harvested over 6.7 million tons of grain, including rapeseed. This was reported to BELTA by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food.

As of August 9, Belarus had harvested 6.753 million tons of grain (including rapeseed), of which 5.697 million tons were cereals and legumes (81.8% of the areas to be harvested, yield - 33.9 centners per hectare), and 1.056 million tons of winter rapeseed.

In terms of total grain harvest, including rapeseed, the Minsk region collected 1.825 million tons, the Grodno region - 1.537 million tons, the Brest region - 1.507 million tons, the Mogilev region - 714.4 million tons, the Gomel region - 648 thousand tons, and the Vitebsk region - 521.4 thousand tons.

Harvesting of other crops continues: winter rye - 89% of the plan, spring barley - 83.2% of the plan, wheat - 81.4% of the plan, oats - 79.4% of the plan, triticale - 78.1% of the plan, legumes - 62.5% of the plan.

Harvesting of winter barley and winter rapeseed has been completed.

Simultaneously with the grain harvest, flax is being pulled. 39.9 thousand hectares of flax have been pulled (89.1% of the areas to be harvested).
