Great Patriotic War Veteran Sergey Nesterovich Karas Received Congratulations from the Prosecutor's Office Staff

Sergey Nesterovich, the oldest Great Patriotic War veteran among our countrymen, celebrated his 100th birthday in March of this year. Despite his venerable age, the front-line soldier remains in good health. He is a purposeful and cheerful person.
Sergey Nesterovich was drafted into the Red Army in 1940, where he served in an infantry regiment and then in aviation. Working as an aircraft mechanic, he spared no effort in preparing combat vehicles to perform their assigned tasks.
For his services to the Motherland, among many awards, the veteran's tunic proudly displays the Order of the Patriotic War, 2nd Class, and the Medal "For the Victory over Germany in the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945."
A pleasant surprise for Sergey Nesterovich was the congratulation from the staff of the district prosecutor's office, which the former front-line soldier received with characteristic composure and a smile.
