Viktor Azarenok: no runaway "Zmagars" will be able to sway our people now
Only a few days remain until the Presidential election of the Republic of Belarus.
This week, the deputies of the House of Representatives are working in their constituencies.
"Every day we hold meetings with voters, we speak to work collectives," notes Viktor Azarenok, deputy of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus. "I want to note that there is not a single indifferent person, and the topic of elections is the most discussed among the region's residents today.
The time that has passed since the last elections has been a time of realization and reevaluation for Belarusians: we have realized how fragile the world is today. Today, everyone's voice, everyone's actions and deeds, are reflected in the fate of the country.
Now, no runaway "zmаgar" can sway our people with false promises, vile provocations, or statements. Because every Belarusian has realized the value of what they have.
First and foremost, this is peace. It is the opportunity to work, to educate, and to raise our children peacefully. We have confidence in the future, confidence in guaranteed medical and pension provision, confidence that our army and security forces will protect us from any external and internal threats. Every Belarusian knows what needs to be done: they need to go to the polling station and cast their vote for a person who, through many years of daily work, has created, strengthened, and preserved our beloved Belarus."
