"Every year on April 2, Belarus and Russia celebrate the Day of Unity of the Peoples of the two countries, united by centuries of history of friendship and good-neighborly partnership, at the state level.

As stated by the Head of State A.G. Lukashenko, the unity of our fraternal peoples is shaped by common culture, worldviews, and history, which we sacredly preserve and protect.

Cooperation between Belarus and Russia is built on the principles of unconditional preservation of the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of the two states and has been developing more intensively than ever in recent years.

Within the framework of the Union State, numerous joint projects of various levels are being developed and successfully implemented, including those significant for Belarus, such as the construction and successful commissioning of the first Belarusian nuclear power plant, Belarus obtaining the status of a space power thanks to the flight of the first cosmonaut of sovereign Belarus, Marina Vasilevskaya, into orbit, in which close cooperation between Belarusian and Russian scientists played a significant role, and others.

Together with fraternal Russia, we are jointly developing and organizing the further production of the two-engine light multipurpose aircraft "Osvia", the prototype of which will be produced in 2026 by one of our enterprises. This project will create the first aviation engineering school in the Republic of Belarus.
