Vitebsk region welcomes participants and guests of the XI Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia

The XI Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia begins its work today.

The first Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia was held in 2014 in Minsk. It was decided to organize this established and effective platform annually, alternating between the two countries.

It has been hosted by Sochi, Minsk and Minsk Region, Moscow, Mogilev, Saint Petersburg, Grodno, Ufa.

In the capital of Bashkortostan, an initiative was put forward to hold the Union event in the Vitebsk region.

And now, for the first time in the history of the Forum, it is taking place simultaneously in three cities: Vitebsk, Polotsk, and Novopolotsk.

Nine sections on various topics will operate within the framework of the Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia. A significant package of contracts and agreements is expected to be signed.

Representatives of dozens of media outlets have come to cover the international event.
