The annual regional competition for the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee awards among young scientists is announced.
The annual regional competition among young scientists is held to stimulate the research activities of young scientists engaged in promising scientific research in organizations of the Vitebsk region.
The competition is held in the following competitive categories:
fundamental research – 3 awards;
applied research and development – 4 awards, including one award for the best development for achieving results in savings and thrift.
Applications for participation in the competition are accepted until December 1, 2024.
Doctors of sciences under 45 years of age, candidates of sciences – under 35 years of age, scientists without a degree – under 30 years of age (as of October 1 of the year in which the nomination is made) are eligible to participate in the competition, provided they have at least three scientific publications in journals and collections of scientific works on the topic of the competitive work over the last 3 years, including the year of the competition.
Requirements for the оформление of competitive works and other rules are set out in the Instructions on the procedure for conducting the annual regional competition among young scientists, approved by the decision of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee dated 10.11.2022, No. 605 (National Register of Legal Acts of the Republic of Belarus, 2022, No. 9/119447).
