Oversees issues of economy, industry including defense sectors, fiscal and monetary policy, industrial development, small and medium-sized urban settlements, forecasting socio-economic development of the district, customs affairs, consumer cooperation, statistics and analysis, property relations (including management, disposal, privatization, valuation and accounting of property in district communal ownership, excluding housing stock), insurance activities, entrepreneurship and investment policy, intellectual property, innovation activities, trade and services to the population, quality and competitiveness of industrial products, market saturation with goods and services, licensing, housing quota indexation, consumer rights protection, state symbols and securities, issues related to property seized, arrested, confiscated or otherwise converted to state revenue, foreign economic and regional ties, labor and wages, labor protection and safety, collection and supply of ferrous and non-ferrous metal scrap, secondary resources, and the implementation of social standards in the supervised area. Development of public catering facilities, roadside service, increase in advertising fields on outdoor advertising media belonging to advertisers of various forms of ownership, control over compliance with advertising legislation, control (supervisory) activities, trade and economic cooperation with countries and regions of the world, economy and thrift, with the exception of energy saving issues.

Control over the implementation of social standards in the district.

- Beshenkovichi District Statistics Department of the Main Statistical Office of Vitebsk Region;
- Belgosstrakh representative office for Beshenkovichi District;
- industrial enterprises of the district;
- Beshenkovichi branch of Vitebsk Regional Consumer Society;
- Inspectorate of the Ministry of Taxes and Duties for Beshenkovichi District;
- commercial entities, with the exception of commercial entities engaged in agricultural production

Leads the following commissions:

- for working with property converted to state revenue;
- for preliminary consideration of issues regarding the issuance, suspension or annulment of special permits (licenses);
- for market control;
- for preventing economic insolvency (bankruptcy);
- for conducting expert review of business development plans and investment project business plans of commercial organizations in district communal ownership;
- for involving unused state property in district communal ownership into economic circulation;
- for controlling the timely payment of wages;
- by the working group on improving the competitiveness of the district's economy;
- by the working group on developing forecasts and business plans for commercial organizations of district communal property
- by the working group on import procurement at the expense of budget funds
- on payments for energy resources.
