Attention to legal entities! Used oil filters must only be sent for utilization! Landfilling is prohibited!

Please be informed that an object for the utilization of used oil filters (waste code - 5492800) has been put into operation and registered in the register of utilization facilities in the Republic of Belarus.

In accordance with paragraph 3 of Article 1 and paragraph 6 of Article 31 of the Law of the Republic of Belarus dated 20.07.2007 No. 271-3 "On Waste Management", used oil filters are secondary material resources, and their landfilling is prohibited.

This serves as a basis for amending permits for the storage and landfilling of production waste within 30 calendar days from the date of registration of the facility for the utilization of used oil filters (paragraph 14 of the Regulations on the grounds, conditions, procedure for issuing and revoking permits for the storage and landfilling of production waste, approved by Resolution of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus dated 28.11.2019 No. 818).

Failure to comply with the above legislative requirements entails administrative liability under Part 3 of Article 16.44 of the Code of the Republic of Belarus on Administrative Offenses: violation of other requirements of waste management legislation and entails a fine of up to thirty basic units for individuals, up to two hundred basic units for individual entrepreneurs, and up to one thousand basic units for legal entities.
