Attention owners of lifting cranes operating outdoors!!!

To prevent accidents and injuries during the operation of lifting cranes, we hereby inform the owners of lifting cranes and work performers about the procedure to follow upon receiving warnings of adverse weather conditions.

It is prohibited to perform installation work on lifting cranes, or to operate lifting cranes installed outdoors when the wind speed exceeds the limits specified in the manufacturer's installation instructions (lifting crane passport), during rain or fog, and in other cases where the crane operator cannot clearly distinguish signals from the slinger or the load being moved.

Upon cessation of work, it is necessary to:

- move boom self-propelled cranes to the transport position;

- position tower and gantry cranes in the positions specified by the operating manual;

- secure outdoor lifting cranes moving on crane tracks with anti-drift devices (grippers), and verify their serviceability;

- verify the serviceability of the crane's travel mechanism brakes;

- take additional measures if necessary (e.g., placing chocks under the travel wheels, using guy ropes, etc.);

- ensure that no personnel are present in hazardous zones.

- make the necessary entries in the logbooks.
