Housing and communal services and the development of farming: Alexander Subbotin held a reception of citizens
During a personal reception of citizens, the Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee Alexander Subbotin addressed a number of pressing issues, ranging from housing and communal services to farming. Among the topics raised were disagreements with the responses of the main department of housing and communal services regarding apartment repairs after flooding, roof leaks and wall freezing, as well as problems with unauthorized construction on land plots leading to the flooding of neighboring residential buildings.
One of those seeking assistance was Dmitry, a resident of the regional center, who spoke about long-standing problems with the technical condition of the residential building No. 5 on Gagarin Street.
– The roof of the building has been leaking since we moved in, and there is a closed attic space above us, which is inaccessible, – he reported.
The problem is that the space above Dmitry's apartment was purchased by a third party after the building was commissioned, and the owner is not responding.
The Chairman of the City Executive Committee Alexey Geroyev assured that measures will be taken in the near future that could help prevent leaks.
– In addition, we will try to gain access to the attic through the court to eliminate the cause of the flooding, – said Alexey Geroyev.
Alexander Subbotin emphasized that people seek help in resolving various issues, and it is not always possible to find a solution on the first try.
– The most important thing is to find the truth, – he noted.
According to the Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee, many citizens have already exhausted all possible avenues, including court appeals, and often face situations that go beyond the scope of legislation or involve personal conflicts.
The head of the region added that quick resolution of issues is not always possible.
– Some receive help immediately, some require more time, and some, unfortunately, cannot be helped for objective reasons, – Alexander Subbotin summarized. – Nevertheless, such receptions help to identify gaps in legislation and adjust regulatory legal acts, decrees, and orders. In some cases, personal receptions make it possible to resolve conflict situations, which also contributes to improving the work of authorities.
