A sentence of 1 year and 6 months of restriction of liberty without referral to an open-type correctional facility, with a fine of 50 basic units, amounting to 1,150 rubles, was imposed by the Beshenkovichi District Court on Alshensky, a former driver of CSUP "ASB Novator", under Part 1 of Article 211 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus. He was found guilty of misappropriating property entrusted to him. The verdict came into force and was executed on 05.09.2017.

Alshensky, while working at the farm as a second-class driver and being a financially responsible person, from July 2015 to June 2017, acting with a single intent to seize the diesel fuel entrusted to him by CSUP "ASB Novator" for work, stole 3699.13 liters of diesel fuel, thereby causing material damage to CSUP "ASB Novator" in the amount of 3403 rubles 20 kopecks.

Alshensky explained to the court that he received diesel fuel for work not at gas stations, but at the farm. He wrote off diesel fuel according to the waybills he filled out, overstating the mileage. He submitted the waybills to the farm's accounting department. He did not change the actual odometer reading, as no one checked its readings or compared them with the waybills. He drained diesel fuel from the car and sold it to his acquaintances, spending the money on his own needs.

The lack of control by the farm's officials over the use of diesel fuel and Alshensky's greed led him to the dock. During the investigation, Alshensky fully compensated the damage caused to the farm and repented of his actions, which influenced the measure of punishment imposed by the court. At the time of conviction, Alshensky was no longer working at the farm.
