A meeting with delegates of the second session of the VII All-Belarusian People's Assembly from the Vitebsk region was held at the regional executive committee.

– The All-Belarusian People's Assembly is the highest representative body of people's power in the Republic of Belarus, defining the strategic directions of development of society and the state, ensuring the immutability of the constitutional system, the continuity of generations, and civil accord, – emphasized the Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee Alexander Subbotin at the meeting. – These are not empty words. With all this, I want to emphasize that the delegates of the All-Belarusian People's Assembly have a difficult task – to defend the vector of our state's development. As you know, the Assembly is to approve the Program for the Socio-Economic Development of the Country for the next five-year period. This issue must be approached with maximum responsibility: the future of our country depends on the choice of priority directions and the competent distribution of resources.

The meeting is attended by Deputy Minister of Economy Elena Boligatova. For her, the delegates have prepared questions concerning the intricacies of the Socio-Economic Development Program.
