Second day of comprehensive exercises in Beshenkovichi district

Refining skills in eliminating various emergencies, coordinating the actions of different services for cohesive and successful operations – this and more was the objective of the three-day exercises of the district level of the territorial subsystem of the State Emergency Service, held in Beshenkovichi district. 

Today, the agenda includes further theoretical and practical tasks, the completion of which will allow for an assessment of the readiness level of all district services for emergency response.

For instance, today rescuers had to deal with the consequences of a gas cylinder explosion in a residential building and, in cooperation with the Beshenkovichi power grids, extinguish a fire at the "Beshenkovichi" power substation, which involved not only a fire but also a transformer oil leak.

Furthermore, a meeting of the evacuation commission was held in the building of the district executive committee. Its tasks included organizing the reception and accommodation of 455 temporarily displaced persons from the western border regions of the country.
