Formation and Activities of Precinct Commissions
Information on the formation of precinct election commissions
On December 23, 2024, at 10:00 AM, an extraordinary meeting of the Beshenkovichi District Executive Committee will be held in the small hall of the Beshenkovichi District Executive Committee on the issue of:
"On the formation of precinct election commissions for the election of the President of
the Republic of Belarus"
In accordance with Article 21 of the Electoral Code of the Republic of Belarus, from January 10, 2025, voters have the right to contact the precinct commission for the election of the President of the Republic of Belarus at their place of registration and clarify whether they are included in the voter list, as well as verify the accuracy of the information provided about them.
If they wish to vote not at their place of registration, voters have the right to contact the precinct commission for the election of the President of the Republic of Belarus at their place of residence during the period from January 10 to January 25, 2025. A citizen may be included in the voter list at their place of residence based on their passport (identification card) of a citizen of the Republic of Belarus and if they have a document confirming residence in the territory of the polling station (for example, a lease agreement registered with the executive committee, a certificate of ownership of real estate, or another document confirming residence).
Precinct commissions operate:
from January 10 to January 20, 2025, from 5 PM to 7 PM on weekdays,
from 12 PM to 2 PM on Saturdays;
from January 21 to January 25, 2025, from 12 PM to 7 PM.
On election day, January 26, 2025, inclusion in the voter list of persons not registered in the territory of the polling station is not provided for by law.
