"For a Safe Childhood" - District Prosecutor's Office Holds Annual Meeting with Students
On September 15, 2020, S.A. Kiryanov, Assistant Prosecutor of Beshenkovichi District, together with A.S. Adamovich, Senior Inspector of the Juvenile Affairs Inspectorate of Beshenkovichi District Department of Internal Affairs, and S.F. Zhigun, Youth Leader, held a meeting with students at the Educational Institution "Ulla State Professional Lyceum of Agricultural Production named after L.M. Dovator".
During the meeting, the prosecutor's office employee spoke with first-year students, inquired about their daily life, future prospects, and also, by invitation, visited the dormitory and familiarized himself with the living conditions there.
In addition, individual conversations were held with teenagers who are subject to individual preventive work, during which the prosecutor's office employee explained the requirements of current legislation and spoke about the negative consequences of using narcotic drugs and alcoholic beverages.
During the meeting, S.F. Zhigun, the district's youth leader, formed a district team to participate in the "Regional Spartakiad". S.A. Kiryanov wished the formed team good luck in the upcoming competitions, as well as to represent their district with dignity and win valuable prizes.
At the end of the meeting, the participants of the event visited the museum named after Hero of the Soviet Union L.M. Dovator, located on the territory of the educational institution. During the visit, the participants learned about the life of Belarusian partisans, the heroic deeds of soldiers, and the fierce battles for the liberation of the district. A note was left in the visitor's book as a memento of the visit.
It should be noted that the museum also features an exhibition of student developments, distinguished by their relevance and interesting implementation.
The meeting left many impressions and emotions; similar events will continue.
