Under the hot sun and heavy rains, the grass has grown thick and juicy. However, as the workers emphasize, it is important not only to grow but also to harvest this fodder on time.

As of July 16, 382 hectares have been mown in the district for the second cutting, which is 6.1%. 67,953 tons of green mass have been harvested from the 1st and 2nd cuttings, with a yield of 112.4 centners per hectare. 833 tons of hay have been procured, or 21.7% of the plan, 40,854 tons of silage, or 64.4%, including 2,696 tons (3,656 rolls) in stretch film. In total, agrarians in the district have procured 11,973.8 tons of conventional units (33%), with 12.09 centners of conventional units per head of livestock.

Among the leaders in fodder procurement are the Vyaderevo workers, who have mown 202 hectares of grass (24.5%) for the second cutting. The largest plan, 2,300 hectares, belongs to the Novator enterprise, which has accounted for 105 hectares, or 4.57%.

In terms of hay procurement, KSPUP "PolitotdelAgro" is at the forefront, having procured 329 tons, or 27.3%. Politotdel has fulfilled 73.4% (13,813 tons) of the silage procurement plan, ASB-Agro Novator CJSC employees have coped with the task by 63.2% (13,723 tons), and "Sushchev-Agro" LLC by 76.6% (4,227 tons). The undisputed leader in polymer film fodder procurement is SUP "Vyaderevo" – 2,588 tons (3,440 rolls).

In terms of fodder units, the best are the Politotdel and Novator workers, who have procured 4,025.6 and 3,942.8 tons of conventional units, respectively. In these agricultural enterprises, there are 14.06 and 12.09 centners of conventional units per head of livestock.
