Deputy Minister Gennady Lasuta paid a working visit to Beshenkovichi district

During the visit, Gennady Fedorovich took part in a meeting of the Beshenkovichi District Executive Committee, which reviewed the state of fire safety in the Beshenkovichi district. The event was also attended by Sergey Nikolaevich Meshkleshkin, Head of the Vitebsk Regional Emergency Management Department, and the leadership of the Beshenkovichi District Department for Emergency Situations. First, Andrey Vladimirovich Solovyev, First Deputy Head of the Beshenkovichi District Department for Emergency Situations, took the floor and reported on the current operational situation, as well as voiced problematic issues, after which representatives of organizations and institutions were heard. Then Gennady Fedorovich spoke and noted that only through cooperation can the loss of life from external causes be prevented, and also emphasized the responsibility of each local manager.

After that, the Deputy Minister met with the staff of the Beshenkovichi District Department for Emergency Situations and listened to all proposals for improving the service and answered pressing questions.

Gennady Fedorovich also held a meeting with the work collective of the Education Department of the Beshenkovichi District Executive Committee. In his speech, Gennady Lasuta highlighted the basic rules of safe behavior at work and at home, focusing on typical mistakes that can provoke an emergency situation.

- The frivolous attitude of some citizens towards fire safety issues is the main reason contributing to the outbreak of fires, - emphasized Gennady Fyodorovich. - Moreover, we ourselves, knowing what consequences certain violations lead to, continue to tempt fate, hoping that trouble will pass us by.

The rescuers also touched upon the topic of child safety. Attendees were reminded of the inadmissibility of leaving minors unattended and shown the film "Non-Childish Games".

In addition, Gennady Lasuta recalled the existence of such a means of early fire detection as an autonomous fire alarm and urged the employees of the Borisov enterprise to secure their own homes with its help.
