Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus Igor Bolotov visited Secondary School No. 1 in Beshenkovichi as part of the "School of an Active Citizen" project.
The informational and educational project "SHAG" - "School of Active Citizen" - is a unified day of information for high school students, held monthly in each educational institution. The project aims to form knowledge, skills, personal qualities, and beliefs.
This time, the State Educational Institution "Secondary School No. 1 of Beshenkovichi town" hospitably opened its doors to distinguished guests - Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations Igor Vladimirovich Bolotov and Head of the institution "Vitebsk Regional Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations" Sergey Nikolaevich Meshkin.
Before the meeting with high school students, activists of the Belarusian Youth Public Association of Rescuers and Firefighters organized interactive platforms in the school foyer, where everyone could test their safety knowledge and practice actions in various emergency situations.
The event was held in the format of an "open microphone": schoolchildren - students of grades 8-11 - had a unique opportunity to ask questions to the leadership of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
Schoolchildren asked the guest questions related to the rescuer profession, his personal choice of such work, and were interested in his combat experience. The Vitebsk Regional Safety Center was also not overlooked.
At the end of the event, the school administration presented Igor Vladimirovich with a handmade author's doll, made by the school's teachers without a single needle, in Belarusian national ancient clothing with the embroidered coat of arms of the Beshenkovichi district. In turn, the Deputy Minister wished the teachers and students "happiness, health, and good luck," and also gave them a charge: "take care of yourselves, your families, and loved ones."
