Today, Andrey Nikolaevich Baltrus, Deputy Head of the Vitebsk Regional Directorate for Emergency Situations, visited the Beshenkovichi branch of the ChashnikiGaz production unit to meet with the staff. The meeting was aimed at further training employees on fire safety rules to enhance their fire safety knowledge.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations representative began his speech with statistical data, which not only reflect the level of public responsibility for personal safety but also indicate the level of knowledge and preparedness of citizens for emergency situations.
– Careless handling of fire, violation of fire safety rules during the installation and operation of stoves, as well as violation of electrical network and equipment operation rules, continue to be the main causes of tragedies. – noted Andrey Nikolaevich. – Knowledge and adherence to basic safety rules are an integral part of our daily lives.
The rescuer elaborated on the flood situation in the region. It is worth noting that in this regard, the Vitebsk Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations closely cooperates with colleagues from the Russian Federation, where a decrease in water levels is already being observed.

After the meeting with the work collective, Andrey Nikolaevich visited the local EMERCOM unit and met with the department's personnel.
