Further monitoring of private property objects involved in trade has been completed
From November 10 to 20, 2020, the inspection and prevention department of the Beshenkovichi District Department for Emergency Situations conducted scheduled monitoring of compliance with fire safety legislation, including mandatory requirements of technical normative legal acts of the fire safety regulation and standardization system for Limited Liability Company "Zhuravinka", operating in the urban settlement of Beshenkovichi at 22 Sovetskaya Street (head of the business entity – Ivanenko Alexey Petrovich) and Private Commercial Unitary Enterprise "BERDTORG", operating in the urban settlement of Beshenkovichi at 13 and 76 Vitskogo Street (head of the business entity – Berdnik Elena Olegovna).
During the work performed, the submitted documentation was studied, employees of the enterprises were orally interviewed, and the existing facilities and adjacent territories were inspected.
It was established that: fire safety measures are being implemented at the enterprises' facilities; the interview of employees showed that the employees possess sufficient knowledge of the rules for using primary fire extinguishing means, actions in case of fire, and calling fire and rescue units.
At the same time, the following violations of the "General Fire Safety Requirements for the Maintenance and Operation of Capital Structures (Buildings, Structures), Isolated Premises and Other Objects Belonging to Business Entities" approved by Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus of 23.11
evacuation plans for people in case of fire from buildings require adjustment;
operation of equipment (refrigerated display cases and cabinets, freezers, etc.) of individualstores is not ensured in accordance with the operating documentation for it (connected to the electrical network without the use of extension cords).
The following violations were also identified, which, in accordance with clause 3.5 of Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus No. 7 of November 23, 2017, are subject to elimination at the discretion of the business entity, namely:
employees involved in the implementation of the fire evacuation plan do not provide filtering self-rescuers;
shop premises are not equipped with an automatic fire alarm system with a notification transmission device to the fire automation dispatch console and a fire alarm system for people.
Based on the monitoring results, recommendations have been issued to the heads of enterprises, which specify specific fire safety violations and the deadlines for their elimination. In case of non-compliance with the recommendations, in accordance with the legislation, administrative enforcement and suppression measures may be taken against the heads.
We would like to remind the heads and officials of business entities of the strict observance of the requirements of regulatory documents in the field of fire safety when ensuring fire safety at entrusted objects or privately owned property.
