Belarus is finishing sowing winter crops. The sowing area exceeded 1 million hectares or 73.5% of the plan. The winners of the 4th competition for the best electrician within the CIS finished in Vitebsk. The team of the Glubokoye electric mains of the republican unitary enterprise Vitebskenergo won the first place. The Russia and Kazakhstan’s teams placed second and third. The competition lasted four days and gathered together professionals from Belarus, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.

There are plans to implement three major projects to produce chip fuel in the Vitebsk oblast, chief engineer of the Vitebsk manufacturing forestry association Nikolai Privalov told BelTA.
