The Palace of the Republic has hosted the ceremony of awarding the President of the Republic of Belarus' prizes "For Spiritual Revival", special prizes for cultural and artistic figures, as well as the "Belarusian Sports Olympus". All of them are being personally honored by the President today. Alexander Lukashenko emphasized that deep respect for folk culture is a matter of national dignity.

“We are shaping the future of Belarus by preserving our cultural heritage, reviving ancient traditions of folk craftsmanship and creativity in festivals and holidays, giving new life to masterpieces of high art, welcoming the first born babies, educating the younger generation on the original spiritual values, showing mercy and taking part in the fate of compatriots in need of special care, rising to the glory of the Motherland on the sport Olympus, helping their pupils to conquer this summit, covering the victories of our athletes in the mass media.”
Belarusians are creators by their essence. High awards have been given to labor and creative teams. Representatives of various professions have been honored for their personal contribution to the strengthening of spiritual values, moral traditions of the Belarusian people and patriotic education of the youth.
