Orsha Linen Mill extends sales network in Russia and opens outlet in Odessa

Orsha Linen Mill (Vitebsk oblast) is extending thitse sales network in Russia and is to open an outlet in Odessa, director of the mill Valeriy Shatkov told BelTA.

In the next few months Orsha Linen Mill will open outlets in Yekaterinburg, Rostov-on-Don. Ukraine’s first outlet of the Belarusian linen will open in Odessa. The paper work is in the final stage. 

According to Valeriy Shatkov recently the company has focused on its expansion of own commodity distribution network abroad. The company has representative offices in Estonia, Russian regions and a trading house in Moscow. Retailer network is growing in Ukraine and Kazakhstan. As a result in Q1 this year the sales upped by 8% from the same period last year. The company has been reporting sales growth for the second year in a row. In 2006, exports accounted for roughly 80% of the total sales.

The export is mainly destined for Russia, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, the USA, European countries.
