Cooperation with integration structures of the post-Soviet space was actively developing as well, primarily through the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union State of Belarus and Russia, the Parliamentary Assembly of the Collective Security Treaty Organization, and the Inter-Parliamentary Assembly of the CIS Member States. “This lets us strengthen the defense capability of Belarus, establish close cooperative ties, create conditions for the uninterrupted, efficient operation of domestic producers, and therefore to maintain a decent standard of living for our citizens,” the speaker emphasized. “On the sidelines of the 147th Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union in Angola, meetings were held with delegations from countries in Africa, Latin America and Southeast Asia.
