On May 3-5 Vitebsk will play host to the oblast-wide festival of youth art ‘Student Spring’, the chief of the youth policy department of the Vitebsk oblast executive committee, Valeriy Kunashko, told BelTA.
According to him, the 18th forum will bring together university teams from Vitebsk and Polotsk and also from Moscow and Velikie Luki of the Pskov oblast. The teams will showcase their skills in the contest titled ‘Believe in Your Dream…’ and also a KVN (Club of the cheerful and sharp-witted) humor show. The latter is especially popular with the Vitebsk audience. A contest among the team fans will be organized for the first time. The best fan team will win the right to attend the closed after-party for the participants of the festival on the last day of the forum. The event is aimed at promoting creative skills of students, organizing leisure time activities and strengthening friendly links between students of Belarus and Russia.
The festival is organized by the youth policy department oft eh Vitebsk oblast executive committee of the Belarusian republican youth union and Vitebsk center of culture and leisure time activities.
