“We have a lot of organizational activities. The Belarus President Administration has a very busy schedule now. First of all, we need to organize the work of all the branches of power and the Belarusian People's Congress, first of all. There are a lot of new things,” the head of state said.
The president said that the parliament of the new convocation had already started its work. The Council of the Republic has yet to hold its first session, while the House of Representatives of the new convocation has already begun its activities setting up standing commissions, electing their heads.
“The most important thing now is the Belarusian People’s Congress, and also those important events that we should hold at the level of the president in the near future,” Aleksandr Lukashenko stressed.
He also touched upon the personnel issue, as many people from the president's personnel register had been elected to the parliament and they needed to be replaced.
The Belarus President Administration is first of all tasked with the organization of work regarding the above-mentioned issues and the supervision of the process.
Aleksandr Lukashenko emphasized that the ongoing year would not be an easy one for the country and there would be a lot of work to do.
