A cooperation agreement was signed between the
Institute of History of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and
Beshenkovichi District Executive Committee
At the
conference, the Agreement on cooperation between the state scientific
institution "Institute of History of the National Academy of Sciences of
Belarus" and Beshenkovichi District Executive Committee was signed. For a
significant personal contribution to the preservation of the historical and
cultural heritage of Beshenkovichi district, a number of our compatriots were
awarded with the Acknowledgments of the Institute of History of the National
Academy of Sciences of Belarus and the Research Center of Belarusian Culture,
Language and Literature of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. Among
them is the head of the district executive committee Galina Unukovich.
The
manager of the department of archeology of the primitive society, the head of
the annual archaeological excavations on the territory of the archaeological
monument - site "Asavets-2" Maksim Chernyavski was awarded an
honorary certificate of the district executive committee for his personal
contribution to the study of the primitive history of Beshenkovichi district.
The
director of the Institute of History of the National Academy of Sciences of
Belarus Vadim Lakiza, the deputy director for scientific work of the Research
Center of Belarusian Culture, Language and Literature of the National Academy
of Sciences of Belarus Alexander Baranovsky, and the leading archivist of the
Department of the State Archives of Vitebsk region Anton Yupatov, were awarded
the thanks of the chairman of the district executive committee.
After the
plenary session, work began on the sections "Beshenkovichi from ancient
times to 1917", "Beshenkovichi from 1917 to the present" and
"Connected by forest with Beshenkovichi".
