Beshenkovichi forestry enterprise is the winner
of the regional winter sports competition for forestry workers
The regional winter sports competition for forestry workers of Vitebsk region took place at the “Lesnye Ozera” health resort in Ushachi. More than 100 people (18 teams) took part in it. Lovers of a healthy and active lifestyle gathered in Ushachi district to show their skills and dexterity in cross-country skiing in three age groups: 18-29, 30-39, 40 and older.
The opening of the sports event was attended by Deputy General Director - Chief Engineer of Vitebsk State Forestry Enterprise Mikhail Filinovich, Chairman of Vitebsk Regional Organization of Belarusian Trade Union of Forestry and Nature Management Workers Vladimir Savik, Director of Ushachi Forestry Enterprise Alexey Apenok.
There has been an intense struggle for the coveted winner's cup for 4 hours. The competition participants received a lot of positive emotions, a boost of energy, and were also treated to delicious porridge, fish soup and warmed up with hot tea.
Our fellow countrymen, the team from the state forestry institution Beshenkovichi Forestry, won an unconditional victory in the competition. The ski relay became a high point for the residents of Beskovichi. 1st place in the individual competition (women/men under 30) was won by Kristina Adamovich and Anton Telepnev. Silver medalists (men 30-39, personal competition) - Vladimir Butrim. Bronze medalist in the individual competition among women over 40 - Svetlana Mervenkova. In 4th place in the standings among women 30-39 and men over 40 are Svetlana Nadezhko and Mikhail Demeshko. Congratulations!
