Cooperation agreements were signed between Beshenkovichi and Pskov districts
Yesterday, the district head Galina Unukovich
took part in the Day of Pskov Region at the International Exhibition and Forum
“Russia” in Moscow. As part of the event, a cooperation agreement was signed
between our district and Pskov district, Pskov Region of the Russian
Federation.
Signing the document, Galina Unukovich and the
Head of Pskov district Natalya Fedorova noted that thereby our areas will
continue to consistently increase cooperation in trade, economy, culture,
sports, education and tourism.
“I would like regional ties to strengthen and
our interaction to become better and better. This is very important for all of
us. Russia and Belarus not only preserve, but also enhance the glorious
traditions of strong friendship and mutual assistance. I am confident that
cooperation will continue to develop in all key directions,” noted Galina
Unukovich and added that it is especially honorable to sign this agreement at
the international exhibition and forum “Russia,” which is dedicated to the
outstanding achievements of our friendly country.
The international exhibition and forum “Russia”
was arranged by the decision of the President of the Russian Federation
Vladimir Putin. The grandiose event, which took place at the Exhibition of
National Economic Achievements in Moscow, represents all 89 regions of the
country, as well as federal ministries and large corporations. The exhibition
will continue until April 12.
Pskov Region is represented at the large-scale
event with a stand in pavilion No. 75. The grand opening of the Region Day at
the exhibition-forum “Russia” took place with the participation of the Governor
of Pskov Region Mikhail Vedernikov.
