Today, an event dedicated to the 106th anniversary of the Great October Socialist Revolution was held at the RCC with the participation of the regional management.
The exhibition of the regional museum of history and local lore “The October Revolution and Socialist Development in Beshenkovichi Region”, each exhibit of which seemed to breathe a bygone era, helped the residents of Beshenkovichi to plunge into the atmosphere of those distant events, to remember the history of their native country, their region. A tour of the exhibition was conducted by the museum's senior researcher Stanislav Leonenko.
The ceremonial part and the festive concert took place on the large stage of the regional cultural center. On behalf of the regional executive committee and the regional council of deputies, the chairman of the regional executive committee, Galina Unukovich, congratulated the residents of the region on the Day of the October Revolution, which changed the course of human history and the fate of our people in 1917.
A large and interesting program was prepared by cultural employers. Music and songs sounded from the stage, taking the audience back to the time of distant childhood, adolescence, and youth. Times change, but in Belarus, thanks to the policies pursued by Alexander Lukashenko, we still honor our historical past and celebrate November 7th. It, like many years in the Soviet country, continues to remain red in our calendar.
